To protect life and property, regular inspection

and maintenance are crucial to ensure that fire

service installations and equipment function

properly during emergencies.

In accordance with Section 8(1(b) of the Fire

Service (Installations and Equipment) Regulations

(Regulation 25, Cap. 95B), the owner of any

fire service installation or equipment installed

in any premises shall employ a registered

contractor to inspect the installation or

equipment at least once every 12 months.
